Promoted to Assistant Vice President
MONROEVILLE, PA, January 12, 2011 -- The Board of Directors elected Helen L. Winston to Assistant Vice President on December 16, 2010. Winston joined Parkvale as Manager of the Oakland Office in November 2001 with over 20 years of experience and was promoted to Branch Administrator of the Branch Coordination department in January 2008.
As Branch Administrator, Helen monitors and guides all 47 branch offices toward greater success in sales and development and also conducts the quarterly Operations meetings: that includes reviewing changes, coaching and mentoring the Operations staff. She has been instrumental in the ongoing conversion of the Branch Policy and Procedure Manual from standard paper to a fully accessible online version. Working with the appropriate personnel, and the Auditing Department, she insures that the information is correct and acceptable against changing regulations.
Winston works closely with Sales and Training by aiding teller personnel with the appropriate training required for CSR I and CSRII promotions. Additionally, she assists the Human Resources department in interviewing candidates for Branch Coordination vacancies.
Her enthusiasm, professionalism and understanding of the banking and financial industry have proven valuable within these departments.
Winston earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications from Carlow College and an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris College.
